I bought a brand new unit and it scrolls to slow in side imaging. I can pass something 100 yards later its still on screen. I also cant get the sonar to read bottom. Never shows depth its almost like all the sonar is in the first 1/4 inch. Starting to think I have a bad graph. I have the correct transducer selected. Has lss2 for si
Any one have any ideas before I call lowrance

Something does't seem right. Pull up sonar side by side with SI and down imaging and see if they scroll at the same rate. Are you using the totalscan transducer? Or the Lss2?

I am using lss2 , I can tell you the scroll rate has been set higher and you can see it
Move faster when on sonar. When on si the trap will say structure like 363 feet. Im starting to think I have a dud

Take it back and trade it for a Helix, sorry best help I can give.

Yes and the correct one is selected Make sure the scroll speed and ping speed arent on max. Usually 18 or lower. It seems to cause freezing issues when they are maxed out.

I had an issue that sounds the same as yours. My problem was that I had a bad sonar transducer. Once I replaced the sonar transducer with a new one it corrected my problems with sonar and imaging. My only guess is that the bad sonar transducer somehow slowed the processor down to where the imaging was freezing up also.

When I try to scan too far out with mine it scrolls slow. What range are you scanning at??
I normally scan at about 80ft and it does good...
