I've heard about some rear or t-post sticking up that can damage your boat where they might be and how deep is the water above 2869 thanks for any info Monte

Stay in the marked boat lane while running north\south (orange buoys). Main lake is fairly open but be careful. Any cove or north of bridge is idle only. There are t-posts in many stumps and most that I have seen are new since they drained the lake in the winter. Above the bridge, the deepest is 12-14 feet right past the bridge and then gradually comes up to around a couple of feet the further north you go.

Rebar everywhere so be careful. Don't know what the lake level is now but they were going to draw it down the last time I was there. Here's what I found last time I was there.

Only an idiot would mark a stump with a piece of rebar. Good luck on your trip.

I am not defending the people that do this but there is a reason that they do. Initially, they drive the rebar in and then put PVC pipe around it. Unfortunately, the PVC always somehow comes off and what you have left is a fiberglass boat can opener.
