Any thoughts As to whether lakemaster or navionics is better on Amistad.

Haven't used both. No problems with Nav.

Use Lakemaster on Amistad and no problems.

Used both and both pretty much the same. I do like the lake level offset with the H/Bird unit's versus the Lowrance. Just my preference.

You can check out the latest and greatest from Navionics on the Webapp before spending a dime to make sure it is the level of detail you are looking for in the areas you spend most of your time. Navionics WebApp Be sure to toggle the button in the bottom left to turn on the Sonar Chart data.

Haven't used LakeMaster, but the Navionics on Amistad is good... no missing contours on Mexico side or anything.

My Lakemaster chip has served me well.
Wouldnt use anything else especially with shallow water highlight and the large number of shallow humps throughout the lake.
