Well I finally took the 18 hour drive down to Miami to do a little peacock fishing.. I have to say if you have never experienced it you need to. I went on an 8 hour trip and had a blast with well over 30 fish in the boat and a monster peacock hitting 7.3 pounds. I will post a link to my guide down below if anyone is interested.. Trust me its work a trip!!

Nice guide photo. That thing looks like a 25 lber! Sounds like a great trip and a lot of fun. That is a monster for Florida Peacocks.

I fish the canals in Miami 3-4 times a year... wife�s family all live there.... that�s a huge peacock for Florida! Well done

Thanks guys..... update on the big fish. The guide called me back and after looking at his video and pictures from the trip I read the scale wrong. 7.75pounds was the official weight!!
