Going to Lake Conroe this weekend. Any tips or what everyone seems to be catching on this lake. Thanks!

I went with a guide around this time last year. He just ran from brush pile to brush pile dropping small jigs tipped with nighcrawlers. Caught a mixed bag of everything. Lots of cats, several hybrids, a few largemouth, perch, and yellow bass. Yellow bass are delicious. Fished mostly south end.
