Guys, I am looking for recommendations on a vacation rental in the Rockport/Aransas pass/ Fulton area. Looking for a place that has a long fishing pier. My 12 year old is crazy about fishing and can�t get enough of it. We went down last year and did a bay fishing trip with good luck. I would like a place where we could fish off the house pier and have good luck catching fish. Any recommendations? Also what time of year would be best? I am not opposed to him missing a few days of school. I just want him to have good luck fishing. Any tips on what areas would be best?

Redfish Reef rental house in Rockport. Pier is 5 feet from back porch. 120 foot pier with lights. Fish cleaning station on the bulkhead. If I remember correctly, it is a four bedroom. I am assuming that it is still there after the hurricane.

I was in Rockport 3 days after the hurricane, and I doubt many were left, frankly. I haven't been back in a while, so I'm not sure how much has been rebuilt. The lighted piers on Little Bay were usually good, you might check there.
