In your opinion/experience which 2 or 3 Texas parks would you pick for bass fishing?

Sandlin, Tawakoni, Rusk and Huntsville. Tawakoni has a few close areas that fish real good. Sandlin is a real good lake with close access to two other lakes. Huntsville is a little bit of a drive but pretty. Haven’t been to Rusk in a while. Almost forgot Tyler is a good park.

Tyler is a great one for a yak, as is Sandlin for the proximity to Monticello. Tyler has some giants in it but the water is so clear it took me a while to get used to.

Kayak = Caddo!
Cleburne Would be another decent option that hasn’t been mentioned and close to the metro.
I’ve seen the signs to Purtis Creek and wondered about that one...

Purtis Creek looks to be kayak-friendly. Best thing is, no wake boats or jet fleas
