Heading there next week for the 1st time. Hard to find any info on this lake. Is this a good lake this time of year?

Why would anyone fish for bass with water temps around 100 here? If u wanna catch catfish or tilapia I guess I get it but no reason to fish power plant lake for bass mid summer
