Depends on what you can afford. Personally I like the Cara line, however they are a little more expensive.

I switched over to all Falcon about two yeas ago. In process of buying my wife a new rod for Christmas and will eventually have all her rods the same as mine. It's probably just me but I think my fishing improved because I'm getting used to how the rod fishes. I had a bunch of mis matched rods and seemed i would not get the same feel on different brand rods. It may be all in my head but it makes sense to me.

I personally use the Cara series as well. The Lowriders are a very good rod at a midrange price. Cant go wrong with either of these series. I havent used the Bucoo or Jason Christie series but there are lots of people that like them just as well.

I had mostly Lowriders for about five years and then I bought my first Cara. I now have all Cara rods and about two Lowriders. Cara rods will run you a bit more but to me they compare favorably to rods double their price.

The Cara Amistad 7'3 is my all around rod and have had five ordered from TW since December and they are still on back order. Many of the Cara on the TW website is on back order for some reason.

Try Southwest Parts & Service. I've bought my last 4 or 5 Cara Amistads from Paul and Shane. If they don't have it in stock, they can get them in a few days.

I had 4 older series Low Riders that began to have guide issues. Lost inserts or breaking guides. I contacted Falcon and discussed with them. As the rods were older and out of warranty I didn't expect much but they asked for the the rods to be sent back. They replaced all rods for $60 each. Couldn't complain as the replacement rods cost $169 each. Had the rods been Cara replacements would have been free. One month later broke a tip on another older Low Rider series and this time they asked that I cut out the information on the blank and send to them. Same deal only $70 this time. I currently have 6 Low Riders, 4 Costal Spinning, and two Bucco SR's and will be replacing all of my Brand X rods with Low Riders or Cara's depending on my budget at the time. Great rods and great customer service.
