Hey Folks,

I recently purchased a Garmin 7sv. Although i like some of the features on it, I am having trouble with the quality and look of the side imaging and I'm not sure what to do about it. I don't get good clear tree branch pictures or anything like that. It tends to be more like blobs. I'm not sure if this has to do with the angle it is mounted, if its mounted to close to the motor. I've tried different speeds as well with little success. I'm not sure if the transducer is a problem (i found you can buy some better transducers for it). I'll try to take some pictures today and to show what I mean.

Any thoughts or ideas?
