 Bulge pump runs continuously

When I turned the power on this morning I heard one of the bilge pumps running and it would not shut off. I turned all power off, hoping it would reset somehow when it got power again, but no go. I poured water in the compartment and it functioned properly but kept on after water was pumped out. I checked for obstructions but couldnt find any. Anything else I should look for.

I have had an switch get water in it and rust it. It did the exact same thing. i replaced the switch and it stopped.

You should be able to pull the pump and then check the float switch.
He is truly a sick individual.

You should be able to pull the pump and then check the float switch. Agree....float may be hung.
