Do I need to get my trailer inspected every year in order to renew my tags? 2016 model trailer

NOT UNLESS IT IS A VERY BIG BOAT MOST BASS BOATS DO NOT NEED TO BE INSPECTED

I had to last year, but this year NO. I have a large boat and tandem axles and no inspection needed.
I'm sure DPS website may have the weight requirement limit posted. I just don't remember.

If you need inspection, it will say so on the renewal notice.

It was changed from 4500# to 7500#.
The state determines that, not the individual counties.
