I know it sounds crazy, but Ive had some of my best days on that lake throwing topwaters all day with bluebird skies and 100+ degrees. Keep a weightless fluke or senko on the deck to follow misses. Dont discount bluff walls even if in 70+ feet of water right next to it.

when fishing bluff walls do you try to let your bait sink next to the wall or hop it on the edge ?

Used both techniques, It will need to be fairly calm to drop it next to a wall but does work well. Can try to hop off edge, works also depends of how deep the drop is, lots of vertical walls along the devils.

Depends on the pattern that's working. Specifically was talking about topwater along bluff walls, but have caught fish flipping them too with soft plastics and jigs.
