 Why is my 1998 Mercury EFI 150 hp beeping?

did tha "self test" beeps change and/or go away?.. there is a purple and a tan that goes from a plastic terminals on tha starboard side to tha port side/top, bottom "oiler module".. disconnect that purple and tha tan feed to module.. if you still get tha mystery beeps it may be tha over tempt warning circuit sensor and/or in tha wiring somewhere?... if tha mystery beeps go away then its in one of tha oiler warning sensors (low or rotation) or module..

Take it to Fish and Ski and let Brad look at it. He is a great mechanic. They should be in their Sanger shop by the end of next week.
