Headed to Port Mansfield on the 26th of this month and staying for a few days. How has the trout and redfishing been lately? Water color clearer or dirty? Wish I could make it down there more often, but its a trek from North TX. Thanks for the info!

Fishing has been great, if your a croaker soaker plenty of bait around. Been doing South winds so the water isn't the clearest but not dirty. The old Exxon now has gasoline & diesel pay at the pump 24/7. If you are going blue water fishing be careful at the jetties they are sanding up again.

He's a Croaker Soaker All Right!!! That's all he wants to do is fish live bait! LOL Not quite. Do what you gotta do though. Make sure you get those bearings ready for the haul!
