I’m new to the electronics scene. I grew up bass fishing on smaller water and never really needed one. Now I fish Tawakoni for strippers/hybrids and bought a Lowrance Elite 7 ti. I’m learning to use it properly but can’t figure out how to see it in bright light. In low light, it’s great. But when the sun is high and there are no clouds, it’s brutal. There must be an easy solution to this that I’m just not aware of, right? Or is this just one of those things everyone deals with? Thanks for your help.

I have the Simrad version (Go7XSE) of this Lowrance. It is basically the exact same thing. There is a screen brightness setting to adjust the brightness. If you haven't changed it from the factory, you can probably get it a fair amount brighter. The other thing you should check, there is a night mode that automatically dims the screen way down for night use. Make sure you don't have that enabled.
