Thanks Gitter for the reply.  Winter and Spring have been GREAT with lots of big fish staying active.  Summer should be good as well. The bigger fish will be less active during the heat of the day.  Very early morning fishing will be the plan.  I also plan on hitting the smaller rivers a lot during the summer months as well as the creeks.  Thanks Chuck. Early morning fishing is going to be the plan for me!

Great job guys and some super fish. First day of summer starts tomorrow! What is your prediction of the summer bite! What type of water bodies will you be fishing.

Thanks Curtis for the reply! The bite will slow down some during the HEAT of the day! Overall the bite will be good especially during the early morning and night bites. It has already been a GREAT year!  As for the type of water bodies I will be fishing? Going to be fishing rivers a lot more!

I know exactly what you are saying. This past month it seems the bite shuts down between 10:30am and 11am. Day break till then the bite is good. I also figured you would be fishing the rivers more the second half of the year!  Side Note: Did my first night trip of the year this past week. Bite was great. Fished under some portable lights! Posted the report!

I saw your post on your night trip! I will be planning a few night trips very soon! July and August are going to be very HOT months.
