Which plastisol do you guys prefer and why? Im looking for one that doesn't burn or discolor so easy. I just ordered the shooting star system because I think the way the plastisol is heated will help in the quality of the baits and the colors. Consistency is key right? I have been using the essential series plastisol so far.

I've used quite a few over the years and have settled on MF.

I used MF before and had a real hard time with the baits getting supse oily after being bagged for a month or two. like you took a whole lot of worm oil and dumped in each bag lol. Have yall MF guys ever had this problem or did I just get a bad batch?

I'm about to switch to deadon plastix from lurecraft. It's cheap, shipped at $135 for a 5 gallon bucket, and is what the majority of people I know use now.

I don't mind it/actually like lubrication on the plastics.

All these new plastisol brands are just a polysol product. Very cheaply priced for the hobbyist and mediocre at best. We stay away from it and use only MF as this is quality not from polysol. We have them formulate a special blend for our products depending on the type of bait we are shooting. We spend a little more for it but the results from our customers catches make it worth it.

Kudos to RTC for your honesty. Dead On = polysol Baitjunkies = ' ' MF is an all around good plastisol for DIY and mass producers, years of experience unlike polysol who in all honesty is doing nothing more than trying to 'buy' a market via price and a label developed by a company who was a Coulhoun distributor. Who would ever believe one plastisol mfg would knock off another basically admitting their own wasn't good enough to further sales.

M-F even has a sinking plastic. Not sure if it will sink as fast as a wacky rigged Senko.... M-F is the only plastic I use.
