I went crappie hunting today, started at 6am, tried all the usuall spots only small fish and not many of them.
About 11:30 they turned on, caught a limit in about 2 hours.
All fish caught on brush piles in about 16ft water on pink jig head with white and charteuse body.
I found 3 brush piles close together, started at one when the bite slowed moved to the next then the next, then started over till I had a limit.

When you started catching them at 11:30, was it the same brush piles you fished earlier and didnt catch them? Just wondering if it was 11:30 they turned on or you just didnt find them till 11:30?

It was on brush piles I tried earlier. I could see fish on the sonar on all the brush piles I tried but nothing was biting or it was a very soft bite till 11:30.
