Palestine Report
Palastine has been awesome with water temperatures at 83 to 85. With us catching numbers of limits again this week at this lake, its hard to beat.
Same song and dance, isolated brush piles between 10 to 14 foot has been the best. We have also been fishing timber that has been holding numbers of fish.
Bait have been all jigs BoneHead Tackle stumpbugs. I dont think any specific color matters, put one on and fish.
Cody, Garrett, Coleman and Chase. Oh, to be young again. these four boys put a beating on 100 crappie. The crappie were flying in the boat all day long. two of them each caught the same crappie at the same time! great day with some great young men.
Next was Jeremy and his two sons John and James. Jeremy wanted to get his boys on some crappie for the first time after a few misses these boys were hitting homeruns with crappie and slinging them in the boat. These guys ended of the day with 68!
Friday morning was Malachi and his dad Jim. These two men were a blessing to fish with and great fellowship about God talking about all the things he has done for us. As a guide it is a blessing to see fathers and sons fish together.
Friday evening was Ralph and his son Case. This family was on vacation at Lake Palestine and what better way to vacation then to sling some slabs. With a little teaching they were well on their way ended the day with 50 slabs!
Saturday morning was Wayne and his friend Thomas. This is Waynes second trip and is learning how to crappie fish we were blessed with a beautiful morning and with 50 slabs!
Saturday evening with Caleb and his father inlaw Ron. These guys were very excited to start the trip and I dont blame them. In no time they were slinging slabs my way. Great guys with a great attitude. had a great time. Ended the evening with 50 crappie!
Sunday was Kayden Kyle and Tyler their grand pop booked a trip for them for some summertime crappie fishing. They have never crappie fished before so after the teaching part was over the catching begun and before long slabs were going in the cooler. They ended the trip with 50 crappie!
Again thank all of you for booking with me.
If youre looking to get on some slabs, grab your summer clothes and shades and give me a call. Lets fill the cooler up full of crappie!
Even if you have questions about summertime crappie fishing. Dont hesitate to call. I love talking crappie.
