Just got it back from the shop (steering cables broke). I mounted it, everything works fine EXCEPT spot lock is doing something odd. When I hit the anchor icon...if the TM turns all the way to the right it automatically kicks itself out of spot lock. Did I mount the TM on the bracket incorrectly? TIA.

Same thing happens with mine. It seems you have to point it straight with no torque on the power cable.

I ran into this same problem. I finally realized the pedal was hitting a coke lid that fell into the tray. If the pedal hits anything it immediately kicks it out of spot lock. Not sure if this is your problem, but it’s the only reason mine has ever done that.. It made for a very frustrating afternoon until I figured out the issue. Hope this helps.

Even so....when it's doing it's spot lock thing and making it's adjustments it will always eventually turn itself all the way to the right and then it kicks out of spot lock...

Do you have a cup holder or does your cut-out bind pretty close to the pedal? After we took my pedal out, I had to work it back in and push as far back as possible so that the plastic doesn't rub against the metal ring of my cup holder.

Put your foot on it, run it all the way to the left (heel down), then transition to full right (toe down) and see if it catches at all. If so, loosen the mounting screws, push the pedal back slightly and re-tighten. Try again until there is no catching on anything.

Also, look to make sure there isn't anything stuck in your cutout (weight or twig under the pedal).

Mine did the same thing and ended up being twisted 360 degrees when i got it back from All Star Marine. Took me a minute to figure it out as all the cables looked normal. Now it works perfectly.

May just need to recalibrate it... The circle to the left and then to the right. Look at the book and redo the calibrate thing.. I had to do that to mine a 2nd time for some reason and it straightened it right up...

sounds like the cables aren't lined up correctly and it's fighting itself when it turns right
