I rarely use 10 inch. I use a 12 inch powerworm and Texas rig it.
Tight lines and god bless

My favorite "big worm" are 10" or 12" Berkley Power Worms and 10-1/2"Zoom Ol' Monster or 12" Ol' Monster Magnium. I fish them all with a 5/0 EWG Grammakatsu hook. The weight size is relative to the wind or depth fished. As light as 3/16oz to 3/4oz......Texas rigged.

20lb flouro, size 6 Mag hook, and weight/bead (tungsten non-painted) depends on depth and wind. TX Rig / Bubba Shot

I like a 10 or 12" Berkley power worm in Blue fleck or Red Shad, I will also use a LFT 10" or Zoom Ol'Monsrers all Tx. Rigged with 1/4 oz. Tungsten on a 5/0 round bend offset shank Gamakatsu.

5/0 hook trig and weight depends on wind and situation.

Either trig with EWG or mag shakyhead for me. Weight depends on wind.

I really prefer them on my magnum stand up heads I make. I like 10inch blue fleck power worms and zoom old monsters in plum apple.

Yall use the big bull worm much? I use a Bull Worm all the time, it is probably my preferred c-rig plastic right now and I will throw it on a magnum shakey head as well. As for the other 10" worms, I use a power worm or Zoom Ol'monster a lot, T-rigged, typically about a 1/2oz tungsten, 6/0 owner twistlock - http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Owner_TwistLock_Open_Gap_Centering_Pin_Hook/descpage-OTLC.html - and just slow drag it on the bottom. I typically use the 1/2oz weight to make sure I keep bottom contact. I tend to throw it on points or ledges, not necessarily around heavy cover. If I am around a lot of cover I will stick to something more straight tailed and if I want the 10" size then I will put the bull worm on, I think the big ribbon tails on the other worms will hang up more often and you will have a tailless worm most of the day.
