Wondering if any of you guys have set up a solar aeration system on your ponds, and if so what your results/advice would be?
http://mwands.com/store/80-liter-pond-aeration-box-kit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lLOYhOQk-gI've got a 1 acre pond on my place that is partially silted in and years down the road I will be draining, de-mucking and expanding it; until then I am going to use it as a kids pond for my nephews & other kids- I stocked it with 400 6-8" Channel cat, 200 copper nose bluegill, 200 Hybrid bluegill, 200 Red ear & 10lbs of fathead minnows and added a feeder.
I'm just concerned about oxygen levels/stagnation, and running power to this pond is not an option for a full time electric so hence the idea of having it be a stand alone solar because I live hours away.
