I removed my old wooden patio this past weekend and dug out the footings. Was thinking they would make nice anchors for brush piles, but I don’t own a boat to set any out with. If interested send me a PM, they are free but you have to come and get them. Going to the landfill in a few days if nobody shows any interest.

Tried to attach pics, but forum won’t accept them.

ha!..I did the same but the footings are still there...Man what a chore!!...Going with pavers grin...You putting in a new one Captain Yakker ?

Yes. Going to have a slab poured this time. This deck came with the house when I bought it. Got nearly 30 years out of it so can’t complain. Footers weren’t too hard to dig up except for a couple next to the house foundation.

There’s some really cool stuff out there now for doing pavers. Thought about going that route too.
