My paint bubbles up. What’s the trick again to using this stuff ?

Maybe Brad will come thru but I think you reduce your paint with pledge floor cleaner. I forget the actual name but do believe pledge makes it and is fairly cheap.

Never got the stuff to work consistently. I tried pledge floor cleaner as a paint reducer and all it did was make the paint shiny...no joke. Still have problems with the paint blistering when I use concrete sealers...even today. Try some of the other clear coats available. There are several dip and hang products that work great. Diamond Clear is my favorite.

I've never noticed this happening with wicked paints, but some of the craft paints it has happened.

It is funny how it only seems to be on little detail cracks in the gills on some baits or where the paint hits the bill or around the eyes. I sprayed it with the gloss top coat before but it still happened around the eyes and gills.

My guess is that it has to do with the amount of paint.
