Just left the BassPro Shop The new. Z21 NITRO is a nice boat for the money.

Nice features, laid out well. IMO

Agree laid out well... size is awesome... pricing not so great, by the time you add a cover, dual auto bilge, livewell insulation, oxygenators, ultrex, 250 mercury, upgrade to adjustable seat post, 12 jack plate, trim on wheel, ratchet tie downs your already up to 55,000 with zero helix etc....

Thats why I ended up buying a phoenix

21 ft Phoenix is cheaper than a z21?

Pretty damn close for a 721. Maybe a couple grand more for much more quality boat. Same for a ZX-250 loaded

Just passed on on the road today. Probably just an optical illusion but it appears to be a real deep hull sitting on the trailer. Looks way taller/deeper than my Ranger 521. Congrats on a class ride!!! Enjoy!

Go to the nitro website and BUILD a boat, its pretty simple math and adds up quickly since they dont come with any of the stuff I listed.

And yes a 721 is about the same price as a similarly equipped nitro, the base 721 also doesnt have dual auto bilge, oxygenators etc. I do believe it comes with a cover etc.

Adjustable jack plate is standard on Z21 as well as insulated livewells. If you wanna add a hyro plate and Ultrex youll add that same cost to both boats. Also, the 921 is a smaller boat. If the Z21 is around 55k then Im guessing you paid 60k+ for the smaller boat...so....sure the 921 is just a few bucks more.

I bought my z19 instead of a Ranger because I could get a bigger Nitro for the same price as a smaller Ranger.

Strange since the nitro boats website says its a add on... but whatever. Im not bagging on a nitro, they are well laid out and large, they are NOT cheap in price though once you actually use the build your boat and fill in what you want.

CoolGuard livewell cooling system (factory installed only)
$530

I paid 51k for a 2017 920 with 100 hours on it, ultrex with link, 12 inch and 10 inch helix, hydro wave, th marine oxygenators, 2 auto bilge pumps, pump out, recirculate pumps, upgraded wiring harness (additional fuse panel), 12 inch hyd plate, blinker trim, padded deck, padded cooler lid, and hot foot etc.

I wanted a Nitro z21 but found this boat to buy instead. Last summer.

Ive been in Nitro boats and they dont compare to a phoenix on plane whatsoever. The only thing that rides rougher than a nitro is a skeeter.

83 degree lake temp here... 99 today air temp...

My sons going to Baylor so were looking in that area, I need to go down and fish for a month in the heat and see if I can survive!
