Probably will fish Dunlap wed morning...hoping for that 1st mayfly hatch of the year...

Probably will fish Dunlap wed morning...hoping for that 1st mayfly hatch of the year... Looking forward to the post Vogey. Mainly boat traffic and depth you are finding them in. I have always had good results this time of year at the Cedar Trees and at the Marriott hole.  Side Note: Will be fishing early mornings. If later it will be on a creek with a lot of shade.

I love this weather. Going to Fork tomorrow, fishing for Bass but I'll pull out the flies and see if the Sunnies want to play.

I will make my weekly Wednesday early morning pilgrimage to Joe Pool lake. I should arrive by 6 AM and finish up by 9 AM. This week should see the spawn.

Banker...by cedar trees I assume you mean cypress trees. There are a few across from the Marriott that have produced really well over the years. The creek that flows in by the Marriott is always hit & miss for me...either real hot or nothing. Laker did really well there last week. I really plan on hitting the concrete trough area just past that spot that has some deeper water as well...
