I had to replace Yamaha M 25 on my Skeeter ZX 202c with Yamaha 200. Trying a Tempest Fury 25. Prop has plugs w/ 1/2" openings. New to vented props. Tempest seems to be a little slow to get on plane and a little slower on top end. Different plug setting?

I would pull all the plugs first and try it, if it breaks loose too much (cavitation) I would add a plug and try again until I find the sweet spot.

Like said above run as few as will work. My Merc XS works best completely unplugged. I would think however that the torque of the 4 stroke would not require the controlled limited slipping of unplugging the prop to help it rev up.....but what do I know!
