Iíve still yet to see any salvania around the lake. Tons of hydrilla and pads coming up all around. But due to the past years of salvania sinking to the bottom of lake it has put a bad hurting on some areas of lake and now a foot shallower at times. This will in turn clog ur motor and over heat it very easy. Lake is fishing great and plenty to see so yíall enjoy it while we still can.

They are spraying certain areas of the lake though just in case of an out break.

My partner and I won it yesterday and had a 10lber. Fish care by anglers resulted in a lot of dead fish. They had a huge tank full of ice and saved 20-30 fish atleast yesterday. One angler even showed up with 20lbs on ice to the weigh in. Iím not blaming the people running it cause they did try. Even after everyone had left they were still trying to get fish back in shape and released. Some it just didnít work out for

Congrats on the win....ashame to lose big fish....I think they should cut back to 3 fish weighed.....5 overs in a livewell for extended period of time in this weather is not good.

Keep in mind most lakes that have bass have very few taken out every year the lakes can and will over populate. I guess a few fish dying is not a bad thing sure wish it could have been smaller fish tho. The only other option is to quit having tournaments when water and air temperatures reach a certain degree . Just my Two cents

Thanks. U can lose big fish anytime of the year though. Iíve lost a 9 in February when I hooked her in tongue. But I do wish all them were 3 fish deals. Lol

They recently took the slot off one our local lakes here and started telling everyone to keep there limit when itís caught. The lake is now producing more bags 25-30 then I ever thought was possible so this method does work and will always work.
