This is cool .... or not....? "Lets Rumble. This creates an unmistakable throaty rumble thats been tweaked to impress friends and neighbors and call attention to the new outboards to say nothing of the boats proud owner. It wouldn't be a Mercury if it didn't sound like a Harley Davidson idling into your fishing hole.

From what I am reading its only on a Verado edition, Pro XS specifically mentions sportier exhaust sound. Verado mentions advanced sound control. I could be wrong.

Its on the Verado and the racing versions, 250R and 300R.

So now we have sound control? That's just flippin' perfect. Goes to the point I make over and over on this forum. For many, catching fish is secondary to looking good trying.
Can someone explain to me how this makes boating safer? Oh hell, just explain to me how it make no difference at all and that it's not promoting unsafe behavior.

It's not always about fishing. Sometimes people just want to ride around and have fun. Kind of like the comment "you cant catch fish at 90mph", seems its only the people with the slower boats who say it.
