 Which electronics for bow mounted trolling motor

I have a Helix 12si at my console and a small 2d unit on the bow using my TM Universal sonar but I want to upgrade the bow electronics. I am leaning toward a GPS/DI unit for the bow as I don't think I'd use Side Imaging on the trolling motor.
I'd appreciate opinions from others who have done this. Will I use Side Imaging?

I like SI on the bow. It assists me in finding my structure faster.
It's not for everyone or every trolling motor....
