Updated a couple more record fish. Rio Record Lady Bird Park. .54Lbs. J-Moes Hondo Creek Fly rod record Rio. Catch&Release and both weight rod/reel and fly rod weight records. 9,5" in length and .79 Lbs in weight! flehan


Side Note: I hope Clayton will post a picture of his first Alligator Gar that he caught this past week while fishing on the Colorado River! It is the pending Alligator Gar Record for the Colorado River! cheers

FANTASTIC Post and some SUPER fish. Congratulations guys on your record fish. Do you think that the BIG FISH will stay active the rest of the year? Also I wonder how many records Parks&Wildlife will be getting this year? What is your guess?

Thanks Gitter for the reply. cheers So far the BIG FISH have been active all year and the water bodies I have fished are still in good shape. breakdance We do need some RAIN! banana and hopefully we get some! hmmm I personally at my weigh station have weighed a lot of fish this year compared to the last several years. partyon The HOT summer days will slow down the bite! peep Early morning hours and late night fishing will be good hours to catch em! hooked Depending on the water body you could also catch some super nice fish during the HOTTEST part of the day! nuts Deeper water by grass beds and drop offs will be holding GOOD fish! dance2
