I have a 22'Skeeter Bay I am mounting bunk guides on. Question is how far from the rub rail do you mount them.

i would measure the boat at it's widest, and set the guides at that measurement.

With that boat I would set your running boards to hold the boat when on trailer (trailer is out of water). I would set your side bunks about an inch wider than the side of the boat. It's just to hold the boat sorta in place until the trailer starts coming out of the water. Make sure you leave equal space both side or it will push the boat toward one side and eventually your bottom bunks will readjust due to vibration.
