Lets change it back to the loser has to host next year. So you win and you have to host it? No reason to win.

Than why have a tournament if you don't want too win, makes no since either. If winning and than having to host is the problem, than I guess your club would not have to enter.

I know it's not hard to understand. So you win the tournament and now you have to host it? What prize is that? Guess your group have never won it. Running a tournament takes time and work. You provide the food and all that goes along with it. Now you come is last and now you host the tournament. Now their is incentive for not coming in last. This tournament is all about bragging rights. That's all you get and to carry a BUTT trophy around.

I have to agree with Coach on this one. I've only been a part of a few of these the last few years. I'm not sure but maybe Chevy's club has had to host it a few years in a row or something?? I don't know everyone involved. I just know it's a fun event for us christian clubs to have. I look forward to seeing everyone next weekend!

read rule #6. Lake granbury is a 16" min.
6. Scoring will be determined by the total weight or not more than 5 bass per boat caught by either team member. Fish will be measured on a Golden Rule measuring board, with the tail closed. Lake Arlington is a 14" minimum bass length lake.

Couple things for you, please share with your teams.
1. Ramp will be the Business 377 ramp. 2. First cast is at 0600. You can launch earlier. 3. Off the water by 3pm, in line for weigh-in by 3:30pm 4. 16 min for all bass. 5. 5 fish limit per boat. 6. Total combined weight of all 3 boats per team determines total team weight. 7. We will have a Big Bass Award. 8. Its supposed to be 97+ degrees Saturday, please keep the fish alive!! Half pound deduction for dead fish. 9. Lunch will be provided immediately after weigh in with awards to follow. 10. If you would like to make a donation as previously discussed please do so in the form of check or cash. Checks payable to Tarrant Christian Bass Club.
If you havent already done so, please shoot me your roster/pairs. Hope you have a Great week and well see you Saturday.

Coachallen, Four years ago the winning club at Lake Palestine hosted the next tournament at Joe Pool, to be followed the following year by the winning club to have it at Cedar Creek, of which they changed it to the losing team to have to host the next, (no vote involved.) Then that losing team changed it back to the original, winning team.

Irving Christian Anglers initiated the hosting of lunch after the tournament about 18 years ago.The purpose was to extend a little fellowship between the clubs, and possibly have some club members that failed to make the Top Six be part of the activities. ICA also made the switch to the losing team in an effort to make sure they returned to fish the next year. Remember the tournament is about fellowship, and carrying the trophy back to your meeting place.
I used to donate shirts to all of the clubs team members. But getting shirt sizes in time for the tournament became to difficult so I gave up a several years ago, it bummed me out at first, but since very few guys asked about them, I succumbed to the lack of interest and quit trying.
Hopefully, some of you guys will man up and see that breaking a little bread together is good thing, and worth a little inconvenience.
Good luck this Saturday.
