Anybody had any problems with the ultrex vibrating on low and high speeds? Just put a brand new one on and it seems like its not balanced. Any ideas on what the cause may be? Thanks.

Try a different prop. It could be a bad one.
I have only ever seen one other bad new plastic prop but it did the same thing on a terrova I bought several years ago.

Sweet! You finally broke down and bought a boat! What did you get? The TH Marine stabilizer prop nut really quieted down my fortrex.

Do you have a transducer on it? If so, check the cable placement.

If not, make sure it is locked in the down position good and tight.

How low in the water is it? Do you have the locking collar on tight?

That�s former FLW Touring Pro. I knew not to quit the day job at the FD. That Eliminator worked wonders.

not an ultrex but my fortrex did something similar and I took the front nose off and found that the spring washers were not in place and they were turning with the motor. it vibrated and made noise at low speed I bought replacement parts to fix. good luck Dillard

Mine vibrates pretty bad at high speeds but not low. Even tried the above prop nut thing and same. Seems like from 7 up.

Never heard of it, but very interesting. May have to get me one of those!
