They may not be monsters, but they readily strike a bait. Found an over flow that has numerous carp in it. So with limited access to fishing in west Texas. The quest began, I used chocolate powder mixed to canned biscuit dough. All fishing is sight fishing or dropping to gulpers feeding on Elm blooms floating the stream. I got 5 strikes and landed three, one was lost to a bicycle frame, the other I flat missed. The rumor is that several of the year round playa's have carp in them, the age old trick of finding access to them
