sent an email to motor mate and was told to follow measuring guidelines to i.d. the unit i need

i have a 2001 yama vmax 225--but it appears there are some brackets needed --anybody have knowledge on this ?

was kinda disappointed on the level of assistance i got from them --this should be a simple answer for them !

I was concerned about brackets as well. When I ordered mine, they sent brackets and instructions to mount them. It was not difficult and mounted quickly. So if you need the brackets, no worries.

As a side note to this post, I recently lost one of the plastic knobs on my motor mate. Would have been wise to have glued them in.

It appears they do not make them for those models. I have a 2001 200 VMAX and have the same issue.

I have a 2000 Ox66 200hp. I am using Model No. 10-302-SSB. Unless they changed the specs on it, it should work. I purchased it on 10/4/14 from Tacklewarehouse. If you are concerned, ask them if they have changed any of the specs on that model.

It should come with the Motormate and 2 SS brackets that you mount to the bottom motor bolts on the jackplate.
