Could anyone tell me the years the Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3 and Carbon were put into production and sold?

Or send me a link somewhere that tells the years along with the history of these units?

Don’t know the exact year, but the gen1 was around 2007 or so. Gen 2 around 2010(ish), gen2 touch 2012(ish), gen 3 2015 (ish), Carbon 2017 (ish)

All of these should be within 1 year, typically a new graph every 2-3 years.

NOTE: there is the Gen-2 & the Gen-2 Touch. Don't get them confused if you are looking at buying pre-owned units.
