The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our fifth monthly meeting of 2018 this Thursday night, May 10th starting at 7:00PM. We meet at Bass Pro Shops in Garland on the restaurant patio downstairs. We are taking memberships for the new year. David will be there taking money as usual, along with Brad and Brian helping with all the paper work. Membership costs $30.00 for the calendar year and includes your entire immediate family. If you are a returning member whose information has not changed, just pay your membership and sign the Sign In Sheet and your work is done. If you are a NEW member, or if you have moved, gotten a new phone number etc. we will need you to fill out an information sheet for the Club roster. We'll get you taken care of if you need some help. Please make sure you find the Sign In Sheet. It's worth 10 AOY points!

We will talk about last months tournament on Lake Tawakoni. The wind was brutal and kept a lot of regulars home but some good fish were caught. If you and your partner caught em, fill us all in on how you did it. We will talk about the RHBC Open that took place last Saturday April 28th. A few of our high finishers including the winners were RHBC members. We want to hear how you caught em! We will talk about our tournament coming up next Saturday May 12th at Cedar Creek. We will be doing registration and weigh in at Tom Finley Park off 334 in Gun Barrel City. Tournament hours are 6:05 - 3:30. Registration will start at the ramp at 4:30. Full tournament details can be found here in the Bass Clubs section. We know many teams will trailer south so we are extending check in time 15 minutes to 4:15. We will do Partner Finder and try and make sure everyone will have a partner for Cedar Creek that wants to fish. We will talk about our June tournament coming up on Lake Bob Sandlin, and decide what time weigh in will be.

We will talk about the RHBC Championship will take place at Lake O' The Pines on November 10-11. We will talk about the community events that will take place in the coming year. We have exciting FFAC news! If you are interested in helping, please let me know.We will get a report back on the Clayton Dabney event that took place on Saturday May 5. If you have captained a high school event this year, please make sure to let me know!

The Tawakoni Thursday night tournaments are consuming my meeting times. Sorry about that, I know yall miss me dearly! LOL!
Capp and I ran around fishing spinnerbaits and flipping soft plastics all day. Kind of junk fishing, with no definitive pattern. Just got a few good chunks to commit. No big heads, just consistent 3.5 pounders. We culled a few times throughout the day.
