So I and my family are new to saltwater fishing but we have been planning on going to Galveston bay with our boat at some point. I'd absolutely love to catch some BIG fish. I've heard that bull red are some of the biggest fish you can catch down there but I have no idea where in the bay we would go to catch it. I've been looking around but no one is specific in where to go. We also do NOT have a fish finder, so telling depth and structure is not possible. Thanks!

Try the Bolivar peninsula jetty. That's were I've had luck before. But I'm not a avid inshore fisherman I normally fish lakes inland. But I've had luck there multiple times. I'm heading there next month with my family as well
