we have decided to try and find a weekend place at fork. we know absolutely nothing about rvs but have started researching and we think we will be looking hard for a park model trailer. we hope to be able to invite a few friends down sometime and want a little extra room. we will be driving down this weekend to scope out a few potential places and was wanting folks opinions on the best places to have a rv out there? im not concerned with prices or availability right now just what YOU consider the 3 best IYO!

thx in advance.

We just had a nice lot come open in the park we are in. Check out Pelican Point. Great place. Very clean and quiet.

We were in Paradise a few years and liked it as well.

Paradise RV resort a great place. Think 2 park models are coming up for sale. Both water front but don't know any details. Might check with the office.

West fork landing, off of FM 2946. One of the best ramps on the lake and the park is well maintained. Bob, the owner, is a little particular but really is a good guy. The park is gated.

If you need to be close to Emory or commerce like in Sulpher Springs, Greenville, Canton, and the Metroplex, for quick commute I would look at West Fork no doubt... It's the old Val's Landing, very nice park, Bob is a good owner, not much hanky phanky gets by him, believe me you will want that..

Ditto. And it has the absolute nicest porta-potty in the state!!!

Them that don't know him won't like him.
And them that do sometimes won't know how to take him.

Mustang Resort has to be in the top 3. Great ramp, the owner doesn't put up with any shenanigans, grounds are always nice and clean/mowed. she has a store w/ some snacks and drinks, rooms to rent if extra family or friends come to see you but want their own space.
#1 in my book.
