I'm scheduling a fishing trip to Sabine Pass this November. What moon cycle do y'all prefer for bull reds and flounder?

New moon for me. Always seemed like the fish had a hangover after a full moon and didn't wake up until afternoon.

Doesn't matter - fish gotta eat.
Just time your fishing endeavors to meet Mother Natures schedule - NOT yours !!!

If you get the choice.. new moon... if you don't have a choice.. any moon. Full moon will have a better mid day and evening bite. New moon will have a better bite in morning. But generally, yes, fish have to eat no matter the moon phase.
