Hi Folks,
Was out scouting some creek action this on Saturday morning. Only managed 2 big males. Have the sandies spawned out or are they about to start in the feeder creeks of EM? I heard some of the locals saying to cooler weather has kept them from really in there spawning. I also heard another report saying they are already spawned out.
Can anyone confirm this?

They should be mostly done spawning and should be on the mainlake gorging on the shad spawn in the mornings.

All the fish I am cleaning are still full of eggs. These fish are caught in the lake. Johnny

Not EM, but in some Benbrook creeks ive been whacking some big thick sandbass still, a few hybrids in the mix, the males are still milting and the females at still full of eggs. The fish dont look run down like late run fish usually do so I think theres still quite a bit left.
