Stay around that area when you launch. Good water clarity. Focus on anything up shallow on points leading into coves%pockets. Texas rigs, squarebills and bladed jigs been best for me. Get on the backs of pockets and throw a frog and fluke at any shallow grass.
I am no guide but I think a small wave is trying to move up. Tbey are really skittish with all the boats on them but the last 2 days i am seeing more and more. Seen a couple of good ones too.
Yesterday was better than today but they are still biti g today. Taking a quick break to eat then back at them in a few. Thats as current info as I got.

The late bite has definitely turned on. Probably had 8 bites since i posted. Nothing over 5lbs but the biggest came off a bed.
Idling back into an area now so hope they keep eating.

Ended the day catching a few more. Really fun day out there. What I posted is still working. Only thing I want to add is when you get a frog bite I would set the hook just as soon as you get it. They are not holding on to them long at all. Ended up with really good numbers today and some nice slot fish mixed in. There definitely is a wave trying to move up. As the day went on I saw more and more. Some are a little less spooked as well. Tommorrow should be fun.

I fished the Oak Ridge area for the first time today from 4 to 7pm. Caught 4 fish of which two were in the slot. Fishing in this area was slow compared to an area I fished on Tuesday. If you do decide to fish this area expect stained water with about a foot of visibility. All fish were caught on shad pattern baits in 2 to 4 feet of water. Lots of carp in the back of the creeks if that means anything to you. Good Luck and try not to spend too much time boating. There are fish in every creek so just because they are not biting doesn't mean they are not there.

Only got to fish a couple of hours today before I headed back to get ready for work but another good day numbers wise. The lake is really starting to clear up in some places. Caught a couple on beds today but no real size. Did not get to look around as much as I wanted for bigger fish but I will be back this next week. I think the way the weather is shaping up next week it should be game on with this new wave that has moved. Also betting the topwater bite really gets going even better.

A buddy of mine was in town and he was able to go out on Fork with me. We had a great time. The water is definitely stained. We fish mainly in the 2'-5' water. Between the two of us, we managed 12 fish in the boat with a few bites that were missed. Thanks for the help guys.

That was a good day. Fishing should only get better at those depths as the Shad spawn and the post spawn fish start to feed again.

This is a picture of how good the water is ckearing up i took before lunch yesterday on Fork. Beds and fish were much easier to see. Some places are more clear than others. Just got to drop trolling motor and find those areas. https://imgur.com/a/jTLKI93
