I was on Lewisville today (Friday), and saw at least 10 B.A.S.S. boats fishing 3 to a boat. I think I recognized one boat as a local guide but I don’t think they were all guide boats. Is there a local horizontal that fishes 3 man teams? Thanks, Bill

It was a private tournament put together by Garrick McPherson at Instor and sponsored by several other companies as well it's called the Instor Bass Classic Invitational. Through that tournament we raised $13,380.00 for the Hookset Brothers an organization that gets returning wounded combat veterans into the outdoors through fishing and hunting events. Each of us had 2 cooperate sponsors or customers of Instor in our boats, It was a great tournament for a great cause. . https://info.instor.com/2018-instor-bass-classic-invitational

Ozzie from the forum and his partners won it I believe with 22 pounds with an 8 pound kicker that they caught in the last minute of the tournament. Steve Lynam and his team came in 2nd with I thinks 17 or so and my team finished in 3rd with 15.43 it was a tough bite.

Garrick with Instor will have details this week on the event... It was a fun deal to fish and raised big money for a great cause!! Winning was fun too!!

Timing is everything!

Vince is a good stick and pulled his own weight for sure!! Everything went right we all worked as a team...

Garrett is a pretty nice guy, or at least he used to be, haven't had any contact with him in decades. I was fishing with him on LAH when I caught the big smallie, would still be a lake record if we had certified it, but just weighed it on hand held scales (3-12) and released it and fished on.
