Went out today to try new Ultrex. Got it paired no problem. Spot lock works great. Problem is when I take my foot off of pedal unit continues to run. A tap or three and it stops. And occasionally it starts running on its own. Any suggestions. Thanks.

There have been some issues with some of the pedals. Since no one has answered that has one you might google it for a fix or call one of the repair centers like Boris Marine and talk to them about fixing it.

The reed switch is set to high not allowing the magnetic field to break when the button is released. Remove the button, there is a tab under the button. push down on the reed in the center of the plastic holder and reinstall button. If you push too far, the motor will not turn on with the button.
