I'm upgrading to a 4 bank on board charger. Was leaning toward the Minn-Kota MK440D but wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions??

I've had good luck with Dual Pro either 10 or 15 amp banks.

Good choice, I've had 2 Dual Pro Chargers that failed because they couldn't stand up to the shock on Lake Fork in a 30MPH wind. Went with the Minn Kota charger and it hasn't let me down.

I had a MK 460 PC charger on my last boat, very happy with it. Just don't have enough room for it on my current boat.

The Minn Kota MK-460PC will not only charge your batteries but condition them as well. It also has a temp sensor built in so if your boat is in the garage in the summer and it gets above a certain degree, the charger will cut-off and or will not kick back on when the batteries drop thus keeping the charger from boiling the batteries. The Minn Kota chargers will also charge other type batteries such as AGM, Gel, or Flooded.

I just installed an MK210D on my boat. Only have 2 batteries. everything is working great. Also, Minn Kota is running a rebate right now. Depending on the model you will get $25 or $50 back and you can register the rebate online. Took me less than 5 minutes to do. Shop around for the best price. I ended up getting mine on Amazon for $68 (new). Normal retail was $149.

I've had good luck with Dual Pro either 10 or 15 amp banks. Same here. I've been running a Dual Pro Sportsman 3-bank 10a/bank for many years with no problems. Dual Pro chargers are repairable instead of being throwaways like many others if they have a problem.

Sorry for delay in replying. I don't know if MK's chargers are serviceable or not. Might be worth a call to an MK service center to inquire.
