Fished a high school fundraiser tourney for PTSD Veterans out of Lakeside. Lake was ROUGH sheesh my little Tracker didn't like that much! Fish did bite though it took 27lbs to win out of 45 boaters!! 25lbs was 2d. 3rd had 22lbs. My partner and I had a little over 15lbs we might have been Top 20 not sure. Our fish came in 3-5' FOW around the buckbrush flipping brushhogs and also had a couple on a spinnerbait around grass. Water temps were 62-65* which was a lot cooler than 3 weeks ago when I saw 70* out there. Saw a lot of beds but no one was home on any of them. We mainly stayed out of the wind in small pockets in/around the Brushy Creek area.

I had great success in the same area of the lake a week ago! Heading back out there this weekend to find some deeper water for the BBB!

Yes it has. I think it was at 4.5' high Sat which was about 3' low from 3 weeks ago. You can visibly see the pollen marks on the trees.

How the heck they catch that big a sack in that weather. Fished pines my whole life. Like a new lake everytime I back the boat in.
