Well......I just traded for a boat that has one installed when I bought it. The boat I owned in the past did not have one.....We fished a bank line last weekend that we have fished in the past with little result. It's there so we turn it on.....Fishing this bank last trip we caught fish off that bank....was it the hydrowave or just time for the fish to be there...not sure but it will be on the next trip and every trip....Am I a believer not yet but leaning in that direction...

My new to me boat had one. Used it for maybe four months and I did not see any difference. When it stopped working, I didn't replace it

It's like everything else. There is a time and place for it. I have one. I've witnessed the Hydrowave pull shad to the speaker, I would assume a bass would follow.

If I'm going to spend all this money, time and energy, I'm not gonna skimp on this item.

I used one ( came on the boat ) for about 9 months fishing for bass, sandies and stripers. Never noticed any difference. Once I was fishing the humps at Tawakoni and was catching sandies about every 3rd cats. Turned on the Hydrowave thinking it would hold the baitfish or maybe draw more. After I turned it on caught one more and that was it. I sold it to a guy on here who fishes a private pond near Lake Athens and he said he catches more fish with it. IMO a good graph, the knowledge to use it and making good presentations with whatever lure you're using will help you catch more fish than a Hydrowave.

My boat came with one.

Ive turned it on and had my front unit showing down sonar and have seen fish come right up to check it out. Im guessing catfish or something.

Ive also been fishing near bait balls on fork and turned it on and they FLAT completely surrounded my boat as visible on the 360 and then would move basically some place around my boat until I turned it off which they dissipated and then I turned it back on and they came back..

I dont know if it helps catch more fish I didnt catch any either of those above times.

I dont like it I feel like its one more thing I need to mess with and wonder if its on the right volume, noise, delay etc..

The speaker just quit working and I removed it, Ill likely send it in and get a speaker and sell it.
