Picked up my largest (to date  ) Crappie yesterday from Ron Kelly Fish Replicas in Rockwall. Mine is a skin mount and the work Ron did is simply amazing   She weighed 3.17# and was caught on 11-15-17 on a 2.5" Tadpole in Pearl Ice. Pictures don't do the fish justice, it is breath taking in the sunlight.

They couldnt even find a chunk of wood big enough to mount that thing on. Nice work Todd.

They couldnt even find a chunk of wood big enough to mount that thing on. Nice work Todd. looks like a wooden toilet  seat. great work on the fish, think I may have chosen a log or something like driftwood to mount that monster on, but still looks nice.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

that's crazy how alive, and how big, that fish is. I know it's been discussed before, but how did you process that fish so the skin and fins were so viable?
